Summer Games Night

Time to meet new people interested in Speech and Hearing related careers!

The SHLUB is hosting a summer Games night over Zoom! It will be on Thursday June 3rd at 7:00pm. Anybody is welcome! We want to meet new people and have a little bit of fun before the semester really kicks off. We will likely play some Jackbox games (and maybe some others!) over Zoom and chat. We will also be giving out a few prizes! So come and join us.

Online Social Night

Are you thinking about getting into Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology? Do you have questions about grad/undergrad school that you want answered? Do you want to get involved with the Speech and Hearing Club (SHLUB)? Or maybe just need a night off?

The SHLUB hosted a Q&A and Games night over Zoom! It was held on Thursday March 18th and started at 7:00pm. Anybody was welcome to show up and ask questions to our experienced executives and play some Jackbox games over Zoom with us to wind down. We also randomly handed out a few prizes! Congratulations to our lucky winners!

FALL 2020

Resumé Workshop

With the help of the SFU Career and Volunteer Services’ Career Peers, the SHLUB conjointly hosted our graduate school resumé workshop. View the resumé workshop page for more information.

Summer Interviews Series

Over the summer of 2020, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we set up some online live interviews with speech-language pathologists and audiologists to better understand their journey into their professions, through both undergrad and graduate school. View the summer interviews series page for more information.

The SHLUB’s first social night

Reminisce about the SHLUB’s first social night, which was in person on the very last day that SFU was open before official lockdown for COVID-19. We played Jackbox games and got to know each other a little better!
